love this violet

I love this violet but mine never turns the pink color. I am thinking it must be the lighting. It stays white and green but, still very pretty.

Ma's Ching Dynasty

I really like this plant. Mine doesn't show as much yellow as in the picture, but it is still a striking, unique flower. It's one of my favorites.

Ma's Ching Dynasty

I ordered several plants. All arrived healthy. Ma's Ching Dynasty was the only one with a bud on it. After a week the bud bloomed into a lovely flower, but was not as colorful or full as the picture to the left of the large picture on the site. The flower has a little pale green on edges and pale purple lining on center bud. It's a young plant & I'm hoping future flowers will be more colorful as plant matures. Thank you.

Beautiful!

My Mas Ching Dynasty is beautiful! Since the day I got it, repotted it and placed it in his home location within my home, it has been growing and blooming constantly. I love the frilly edges on the blooms and the yellow and purple make a beautiful combination! The way the leaves are frilly on the edges matches the blossoms! It makes me smile everytime I look at it! Thank you!!!

Yellow n Violet

Rob's description says it all here; Ching Dynasty is a classical yellow. Its blue-violet "edging" varies (for me in South Texas heat) to near splashes, not detracting from its beauty. Needs some tender care in my environment, which is very abnormal, to avoid tight crowns/extreme frilly leaves, but well worth it. One of the few yellows that don't "pink" in my heat.
