Unique

Such a pretty little plant - I love the color combination of the pale yellow and lavender/blue edge. Ruffles on the the bloom and pretty ruffled foliage. Pretty when not in bloom, and when in bloom it sends up so many buds at once!

Ching Dynasty

I too am a bit disappointed in this violet. It's nice but not as striking as in the picture. Hopefully as it matures it will become more vibrant.

The First Bloom

Even though the first bloom was not like the one above, it still had a pretty flower with little hint of purple on the edges and a tiny bit of yellow on the flower. Since it is a starter plant, the bloom will soon turn out to be the color on the picture above when it matures. Still it's a nice violet.

Mas Ching Dynasty

I ordered 5 different types of African violets and am pleased with the others. However,I am disapointed with Mas Ching Dynasty. I ordered this plant and paid the higher price because I thought the flowers pictured were gorgeous. I did think "Wow!" when I saw them. The flowers on my plant are nice, but look nothing like the picture. The flowers on my plant are white. There is no yellow at all - no "heavy yellow mottling." There is a slight fringe - not"heavily fringed." There is a very thin blue edge - not a "thick blue edge." I would never have paid $8.oo for it if I had known what I was getting. I would have skipped it and bought something else.
