Miniature Gesneriads

These African violet "cousins" are all small-leaved, and will bloom when provided proper care.   They can easily be kept small and grown in small pots, making them suitable for container gardens or terrariums.  Many can also be grown as small-leaved larger plants, if not pruned and allowed to spread.  Their appearance, and how large you choose to grow them is entirely up to you.  They will look equally attractive as either a small plant in a small container or as a large display plant (that is small leaved).

 Photos shown are of plants grown by us, and are representative of what plant can look like when properly grown--we cannot always ship mature plants in full bloom!
