Microgramma heterophylla


Wonderful little plant.  A tiny, epiphytic fern with tiny, 1/2" inch, finger-shaped fronds.  Exellent as a ground cover, as it will root onto most anything, great as a terrarium plant since it doesn't grow too quickly and won't overwhelm a small space.

This is probably my favorite creeping fern for terraria. Very cute little fronds, dark wiry rhizomes, and it tends to spread slowly as a patch instead of running around clumsily. It's not a very fast grower so I got two :)

Finally found

I saw this in a friends terrarium and have been searching everywhere for it. She didn't remember the name of it, but as soon as I saw the photo...Eureka! Can't wait to get it as it's been such a great terrarium plant!

Microgramma

I haven't had a terrarium in years and decided to build one in a ten gallon aquarium. This little darling has a nice spot. Well packaged with the other two plants. Looking forward to watching it fill its space.
