Bristol's Xolo

Very large, velvety, very nearly black, purple blooms with two yellow 'fangs' on throat.  One of our favorites and most recommended.  Very profuse and constant bloomer.

Bristol's Xolo

Xolo the conquerer

Xolo is a vigorous, free flowering, and hardy plant that has well earned a spot in my collection. It survived a fire in my home last year, and the following neglect and moves, when a lot of other plants didn't make it... it is blooming now with new buds, many new buds, coming up. The first flower is huge and has lasted 2 weeks now with no signs of stopping! Just a wonderful, hardy, beautiful plant with a tough generous heart!

A+++

This guy nearly died when our greenhouse heater went berserck and heated everything up to 140F! Just one little piece of a leaf still attached. We repotted it, and two months later it's a brand new plant and growing like mad. Beautiful very large velvety blooms!

Stunning and constant bloomer

I ordered this back in July. It flowered within a couple of weeks and hasn't stopped since (it's mid-December now). The blooms are a stunning velvety deepest darkest purple. Though it's a compact grower, the blooms are large relative to the plant's size. It's also quite hardy as it took my newbie growing set-up in stride and was very helpful in figuring out the correct lighting, temp, and watering that streps prefer. This little plant is a survivor!

Gorgeous plant!

This plant is such a nice, compact size and the blooms are gorgeous! Destined to be one of my favorites!

Better than the photo

Just amazing. Midnight velvet radiating light from the throat. So must more dramatic than the photo. Large flowers from a very tiny, young plant. So much more than expected.
