Bristol's Sunbeam

A wonderful plant.  One of our very best.  Large, brilliant white blooms with large, even brighter, yellow throat.  You'll need sunglasses!  Highly recommended.

Something New

I have purchased many streps over the years from the Violet Barn and I am never disappointed. I most always purchase purple, pink or blue, but because of the review I decided to add a yellow variety to my collection. So looking forward to its arrival.

Very nice foliage!

I've had this variety for about a month, and though it hasn't bloomed yet, it has grown spectacularly well and has three pretty good-sized leaves now. The leaves are lovely and very broad compared to my other streptocarpus. I can't wait to see it bloom!

spectacular

One of the best with numerous brilliant blooms. Very much an eye catcher.

Lovely

I bought this strep for Mother’s Day and it has been blooming like crazy. It is a stunning plant. This is one of the first streptocarpus I have bought for my mother, she is in love with it. I will definitively buy more of these.

Branching Out

I wanted to branch out from African violets, so I ordered 2 Streptocarpus’ understanding that their care was very similar to AV’s. Their leaves definitely do not display the same symmetrical growth as do AV’s. My streps prefer well-draining soil (more perlite) growing in an Oyama pot. I let the soilless mixture dry out a day or two longer than my AV’s. The first to bloom was Bristol’s Sunbeam. Beautiful petite white blooms with some yellow. The only negative side to branching out is…I gotta have more streps!
