Bristols Hey Mei

Average Rating 4.9 out of 5

You can see it growing

I purchased this plant just over a month ago. It arrived just as expected with it's two leaves. It now has 3 leaves and FOUR buds. Looking into the center of the plant, it's full of new growth. Lora 28 Aug 2013

No shrinking violet this one

I've had this plant for over four years and it has been a consistent bloomer - with lovely, rich blooms. It has also survived our low-light winters in southeast Alaska, including occasional neglect, and still continues to thrive.

Sumptuous Color

I bought this variety 9 months ago for the color and it has not disappointed. The blooms look soft and velvety. The color is like holding a glass of wine up to the light. The photo does not do it justice. Even in our gloomy Seattle days this plant throws up blooms regularly. I didn't give it the full 5 stars because in my experience it is a little more delicate than some of the other varieties and a slow grower. It is still a wonderful plant I would recommend.

Hey Mei already blooming!

I received my shipment today and to my surprise this lovely little plant already has a beautiful bud! It was perky and lively when I opened the package, so this tells me it is going to be a wonderful plant.

Very rich velvety blooms!!!

Was blooming already when I received it and has been in constant bloom ever since. Blooms are an awesome dark rich velvety burgundy!
