Color is best if grown in bright, fluorescent light. In natural light it has a faded pink background, but with fluorescent light, the background is brilliant coral-pink.
superlative
I ordered this violet several months ago and have been growing it under lights. It began to bloom about ten days ago and is currently loaded with blooms. And the blooms are huge with intense blue fantasy against a deep pink/fuchsia background. The bloom is at least as pretty as its picture. And the fantasy has held up despite warm room temps during a sizzling Texas summer. The plant is robust and sturdy with dark green leaves. A truly superlative violet.
