What a Bloomer

This plant blooms almost constantly. I had to take it out of my 10 gallon aquarium/terrarium after it grew too large in it's corner. Transplanted to the top of a quart Mason Jar and it is very happy and has two stalks that just keep blooming. This one is definitely a keeper.

Do not give up on your Sinnigias

The most difficult thing for me to learn about successfully growing and blooming Sinningias was their watering schedule. Unlike most all the other plants I have purchased from this wonderful site( the plants have been so good ,I am working on duplicating the catalog, lol) I keep the relatively moist. Not the Sinningias. I Flopped so many, but learned to let them dry out and they spring right back from rhizome and grow ever more impressive. I never toss one unless the bulb is a ball of complete mush.Out of all the numerous flops , I have had only two balls of mush. Do not give up on your Sinningia!

Updated review

Sonia grew wonderfully, doubled in size had lots of flowers. The past week+ we've had a heat wave here and Sonia was starting to droop. I had been holding back on the water since my last Sinningia plant died when I gave it too much water. I watered it yesterday and today it's folded over lying on its side. Poor thing. I think I killed it. I'm going to get another one and try again. It was lovely.

growing fast!

I've only had this little plant for two weeks and it's already grown quite a bit and is just starting to flower. So far I'm very impressed with it.
