Lesson learned and research proven - Violet Barn is top tier!
I ordered Pearl Joy from another seller. The tiny plant arrived looking healthy, however it brought some kind of super small pest(s) along with it. I quarantined and tried to treat it but it did not do well. I got frustrated and gave up on it. THEN I started doing my homework to find the most reputable AV seller. I’m like a dog with a bone when I research. I sleuthed though several different social media forums, googled a LOT, asked ChatGPT, asked some friends with greener thumbs, etc - Over and over again, “The Violet Barn” came up as top choice for reliability, quality product, and especially low risk for any hitch hikers due to their current monitoring protocols. I wish I’d done my homework last year and started here first. Excited to try again with a Pearl Joy from the trusted VB!

I ordered this for my mom as a birthday gift she is in love with violets ! The color is amazing truly rare and a hard to find plant. You won’t see this in a regular nursery thank you :)

This little trailer is my favorite. I grows and flowers easily and the light yellow/white/light green/dark green variegated leaves are a wonder to view.
Pearl Joy
Hands down one of my favorite plants in my entire plant collection. A true stunner. I’ve had this violet for about a year. It took several months to get going. Once it started it produced multiple suckers and many flushes of blooms. Started with two small plants in a 4 inch dish and it’s ready for repotting soon. East facing window, regular weak fertilizer, and I water only when it just barely shows signs of thirst. I had a third plant in my order and set it up on a wicking system with 60-70% perlite and it shriveled within two weeks. Previously I tried this violet in a terrarium setting and it had a similarly quick demise.
