One of the Best
This was one of our first Streptocarpus and it was a good choice. It is still doing great with multiple blooms per stem and an abundance of blooms compared to the amount of leaves. More blooms, less leaves compared to others. Ours seems to have more magenta and less yellow per the above picture.
A must have plant
If you don’t have this beauty in your Strep collection, get it while you can. Ambra is one of the prettiest Ukrainian hybrids and my personal favorite. Easy to grow and a prolific bloomer.
Stunning
Love this plant so much it has grown quite big with large dark green leaves. This one has been in bloom constantly since it started blooming over 6 months ago.

I've been ordering from VB for over a year and have been quit pleased with the quality of these plants. they arrive nicely packaged and in good condition. Ambra is my absolute favorite. Lovely colors. Just like pictured.
So easy to grow
I don't understand why everyone doesn't have a streptocarpus. They require minimal care and reward you with such long-lasting beauty. Like their relative the African violet, Strep blooms last a long time and new buds and blossums appear almost continuously. Ambra is one of the largest and prettiest in the collection. Yes, the plants are small on arrival but are so healthy that in a month or two, the blooms start and just keep coming. If you do run into trouble, the customer service at Violet Barn is the best. Rob gets back quickly with responses and he is extremely helpful.
