Just perfect!
I received mine yesterday and it is just perfect. Blooming, three crowns, incredibly healthy. My species plants had a hard time last year so I’m ready to replace the ones I lost. This is going to be a marvelous trailer.
Very sweet
This is a lovely little trailer. It arrived in bloom a few weeks ago and is still blooming. Perfectly packed with lots of care.
Very long lasting blooms
Upon receipt of my last order, I noticed this one plant had one bloom, and it lasted approximately 3 weeks. If you want a very willing bloomer, a tough plant that always looks neat and tidy, with gorgeous blooms, this clone is highly recommended.

Gorgeous little species plant!
This plant has been blooming continuously since receiving it a month ago. It is a graceful, elegant, cheerful and wildflowery little clone that really draws the eye with its simplicity and charm. Interestingly, it doesn’t appear to be a dropper. Each bloom has lasted several weeks for me!
Another delightful old species;
I have racks and racks full of all kinds of violets, but nothing really beats these simple old species or a basic blue violet.

species love Grotei
I have not grown species violets in years and use to have a big collection. This was one of my all time favorites blooming and cascading all the time. I am starting to grow my collection again and very happy to find this clone.
Sweet and simple
This trailer has an old fashioned sweetness with it's simple and classic violet flowers. The leaves seem a little thin but the plant is growing and flowering well. It's one of my favorites.

Gorgeous plant with profuse blooms

Species
This is one of my favorite specie Saintpaulia , it continues to bloom and love the trailing habit of this AV! It is a must have in everyone's collection! Lots of blue pansy type blooms! My fav,for sure!
Great trailer
After just over a year my tiny plant is now massive and just had its first major flush of blooms. Very nice plant, easy to grow and forgiving to neglect.
My first species
This was the first species I purchased in May this year. It started blooming earlier this month and has not stopped! The blooms and plant are absolutely gorgeous!

Still not thriving
While I am very happy with all other violets purchased from the violet barn, this violet is not thriving. I found Rob very helpful when I emailed pictures to inquire how to help this plant, however despite all my efforts this plant is still not happy. I will not purchase this variety again.
S. ionantha grotei silvert
I received a good sized plant in bloom. The foliage was bright and clear and the plant in good health. Being a species, the flowers were blue/lavender and lovely. I'd recommend this plant to anyone.
Vigorous Grower & Bloomer
I received this cutie as a "freebie" with my order. The blooms aren't the most spectacular blooms; medium sized royal purple pansy, despite being plain they are rather cute. But what really won me over is this trailers vigorous growth and hardiness, it just keeps blooming it's little heart out despite being in lower light conditions at the edge of my light stand. This has grown to be one of my favorite plants, the little saintpaulia that could.
S. Grotei Silvert Clone
I purchased this plant some time ago from The Violet Barn. It just took off when I received and has gotten so large, I have had to separate it a couple of times. All if the plants I receive from Rob arrive packaged beautifully and are never damaged. I continue to buy from them because they ship quickly and the plants are always quite large and very healthy.
