Fast grower!
This was the first to bloom of my order and it has very lovely purple flowers! I don't see the color contrast between upper and lower petals like other reviewers are describing but it is an otherwise lovely and hardy plant.

Midnight flowers
When I first saw Blue Bopper in bloom I fell in love. As a person who adores blue flowers above all others, this variety is a delight. Deep violet-blue with electric blue on the upper lobes. So beautiful.
Very Blue
Really a deep almost black, blue. I bought mine years ago. It arrived healthy. I had a problem with a fungus. Almost lost it. Was able to save enough to start over. Glad it’s back.

Blue Bopper is so gorgeous!
I'm loving this plant. Mine has very nicely short, rounded leaves and I wish all my streps grew like this. The flowers are a good size and the color is so intense. I'm really happy I have this one.
My first streptocarpus
I received my Blue Bopper yesterday. It has a bud and I can't wait for it to open. I know it will be darling. As always, my order arrived in great shape!
Gorgeous blooms!
I got this one as a freebie. It's been a very vigorous plant, not a super high bloom count but the color is fantastic!
Excellent True Blue
This plant is not as prolific-flowering as some others, but the color of the blooms makes up for it. Two different colors of velvety true blue, the bottom is so inky it's almost black. Awesome plant.

Blue Bopper Show-Stopper
I bought this one back in 2010 and it is has bloomed beautifully for me ever since. The coloration is exquisite and this variety seems particularly easy to get to bloom. If you have room for only one strep I highly recommend the Blue Bopper.
Big and blue
I saw this plant at a show a few years back and then ordered it from Rob's. The flowers are a very deep velvet blue and bloom months at a time in my livingroom window (west). I have raised many young plants from leaves. This year I have placed 2 young plants under my T5s on my violet stand. Plants doing great there too, maybe a few more blooms than the plants in the window. I live in Florida so they are in airconditioning all summer.
velvety delight
The Blue Bopper charmed from the minute I received it. It has grown into a healthy bloomer with velvet-like blossoms which are a good blue accent with the other Streptocarpus I have. I was afraid that it might be too dark, but it has a lot of light which emphasises the velvet look in the blossoms.
My favorite
I bought this plant at the flower show in Rensselaer last month. I'd never seen it before. It's doing so good and keeps flowering with my favorite color of purple huge flowers. I love it! I'm so happy with it, I came back today to buy another one.
Personal review
Brilliant blue flowers. Bloomed most of the summer in my dining room window. Very cheerful and easy to grow!
Blue Bopper is also the Big Bopper
Blue Bopper is also the Big Bopper Late Spring 2012 I ordered 3 streps from Violet Barn, and have had great results (I was always worried that my house might get too warm for them in our hot Philadelphia, PA summers) with all 3 doing just fine. And Blue Bopper is the best of the bunch, covered with really big blossoms continuously. I knew our warm weather was great for epicias, but am so glad to know that my AC works well enough to ensure success with the streps in the hottest summer on record in SE Pennsylvania.
