Easy to grow!
My Purple Poodle is easy to grow and always blooming. It looks just like the picture. Violet barn has nice plants and a great selection. I can't stop buying. I am about to place another order.

perfect packaging!
Besides being a lovely plant, the shipping packaging is unbelievable. I ordered just after a big ice storm in New York, even though it was warm in Texas. I could not afford the fastest guaranteed shipping, so ordered priority and held my breath. Each of the three plants I ordered arrived in perfect condition, believe it or not! Trust these folks -- they know what they are doing!

Ma's Purple Poodle
Ma's Purple Poodle is one of the most gorgeous African Violets I've ever owned. The color reminds me of grape juice and the variegated leaves are stunning with that color. It is a vigorous grower with numerous buds and flowers. If I could have only one violet, this would be it, but alas I have 25 and the number is growing. Thank you Violet Barn for offering these beauties.
blooms beautifully
I ordered this a couple years ago and it is in bloom most of the year. Large beautifully ruffled dark purple flowers.
Gorgeous purple flowers!
The flowers are the most gorgeous dark purple - almost black in some lights. The picture here does not do it justice and I also, have had trouble capturing the actual color in photographs. This AV flowers constantly and personally, is one of the easiest standards to grow.
