Leaves aren't what I expected
I am a little disappointed in this plant. I purchased Feb 2022 and wanted to give ample time before leaving a review on all of the varieties I received. The plant came in very small and sparse and the leaves were dark green with no variegation. 8 months later and the plant is better but there is still no obvious variegation in the leaves. I can see the edges of the leaves ever so slightly a lighter green but nothing like the photos. I've had the plant under grow lights with the same conditions as all my other variegated varieties that are thriving. From the other reviews it sounds like this one is slower to color up so I'm going to keep my fingers crossed this one shows some color soon! VB Note: For more variegation, grow it cooler--variegation is highly dependent upon temperature.
Gorgeous foliage
I ordered this plant for it's stunning foliage. It's like nothing I've ever seen. I'm so pleased with it and thankful for Violet Barn!
Jamaica Farewell continues to impress!
I reviewed this violet in October 2021, before it bloomed, but I was already in love with the foliage. It's been blooming, and growing, for nearly a year, and it makes me smile every day! The blossoms are definitely hot pink, and the variegation is a softer pink. It is constantly in bloom, and now well over 12 inches across. Forms a lovely rosette without any fuss from me, and I'm planning to enter with 2 other Ma's varieties in the Collections class at our February show. Thank you for a wonderful African Violet!

The variegation in the leaves is beautiful, and the blooms are lovely, as well. The blossoms are not "very hot-hot pink" for me, but rather a strong shade of purplish-pink. They are frilly! The first blooms came about three months after I received the plant. The plant arrived in perfect condition.
