So Unusual
I've just ordered Ma's Fat Froggie. The color is so original and will stand out in my small collection. Prior to this I ordered Ma's Crime Scene which came so healthy and blooming beautifully. I love the Ma's collection and hope this one will bloom with a lot of green coloring.
Beautiful Colored Blooms
I have been after one of these violets for a long time and finally got one. It is in full bloom and very happy where I have it in a west window that gets afternoon sun in Texas.

I purchased Fat Froggie a couple of years ago and it still looks good. It’s big and green and the blooms are very pretty!
Something unusual
Excited about getting this green violet. A little worried about shipping in the winter but at least it is heading South and I will use the guaranteed shipping. I've had success reviving violets so I'm sure it will be fine. Will let you know how it works out! Experienced violet grower but new customer of Violet Barn

I absolutely love Ma's Fat Froggie! Gorgeous varigation, beautiful symmetry, and those wonderful, fat blossoms which make me smile every time I look at them. As always, The Violet Barn used amazing care in shipping so my little tadpole arrived in pristine condition. Ma's Fat Froggie is a favorite addition to my collection!
Fat Froggie Arrived in Bad Condition
Was looking forward to growing this violet. Unfortunately it arrived slightly uprooted and the plant did not survive. Plan to repurchase and try again once the Michigan temps get warmer. Also purchased "Powder Keg" which is thriving. Cannot wait for it to bloom. Attempted to add this review a couple months ago but "Fat Froggie" was not pictured so could not add the review earlier.
Gorgeous
A true winner. The picture doesn't do justice. The blooms are green and the blossoms are a light purple. I love the leaves too. My baby is blooming again.

Fat Froggie
Great Violet! The buds look like fluffy tiny cabbages. The blooms are huge and mine have more of a purple eye than the pictures. The foliage is bright green with white variegation. Highly recommended and does very well in Dandy pots.
One of the most beautiful Greens
I have had this plant for a few months now and it has bloomed several times. The blooms are big, green, and very striking with the variable blue splattered along the edging. One of my favorites of the greens.
Mas Fat Froggie
I have this plant. So easy to grow. The plant keeps on blooming and the blooms are long-lasting. You can't go wrong with this plant. Beautiful mulit-colors in the blooms.
Really want Fat Froggie
Bought 9 plants two month ago. Only this one died recently. Others are happy to grow on the windowsill. Will try one more time. Hope this time works.

Ma's Fat Froggie
I ordered several violets and was excited when they arrived in excellent condition. All four were moist and had multiple healthy leaves with great instructions on their care and growing. Awesome transaction and I will definately reorder soon.

This is an absolutely beautiful violet!! Its flowers are big and the green with the blueish purple in it is just awesome! The flowers last quite a while and it seems to bloom often once it starts! One of my favorites!
My Wife's Favorite
Ma's Fat Froggie has outstanding foliage with beautiful large white and green blooms. Our cat decided our Fat Froggie was a chew toy and distroyed it one day last year, We have trying to get a new one for a long time. We were very happy when we found it listed. This time we are odrering two plants. I recomend The Violet Barn to everone who loves violets.
Outrageous
The foliage on this violet is so unusually beautiful, flowers are awesome, my guests always ask about this one. Outrageous color!
My favorite
Unlike the previous reviewer mine has more deep purple and white on the blooms than green. What I particularly like about this plantis that,once mature, the plant is almost as spectacular to look at without blooms as it is when. The foliage is a bright light green with scalloped white edges and mine has grown into a perfectly round shape. The blooms temselves have also been very longlasting. Beautiful plant!
