This violet is extremely variable for me (a windowsill grower), and it's always attractive. Blooms can be slightly frilled or very frilled, pale or intensely pink, with lots of purple fantasy or very little, with wavy leaves or fairly flat, single or semi-double flowers - all on the same plant over the course of a year! Blooms on mine tend to open with a greenish edge which quickly become pure white. Mine always has a white edge on every bloom. Rebel's Splatter Kake is an easy violet to grow well, and the flowers will absolutely catch everyone's attention.

I bought four standard African Violets and this one was the first to bloom. The blooms are gorgeous! Pictures can't do justice to this plant. It's my favorite. If you are giving a plant as a gift, this one is unique and stunning.
