This violet is a favorite of mine, along with Mandan Dandy , which is not available at this time..
Stellar Blooms
I'm just in love with this African Violet so far. She's nothing but smiles and positive attitude! Fully double to triple blooms and perfect in form. The flower base color starts a dusky lavender and matures to a nice medium purple with a darker purple outer petal band, then finely tipped in white. Quite the show!
Blackie Bryant is one of the best varieties in existence

On a fence
The flowers are just ok, small. Very unpredictable in shape and colour. Got him in spring, bloomed 3 times, each time different colour and fullness, from raspberry pink to grape purple - same location, supplemented light. Also very leggy foliage, at least it is well behaved - no grooming has been necessary so far.
Glad to see this one back
Blackie to Bryant has long been one of my favorites. There’s something about how the double flowers mixture of lavender/purple works with the TL variegated foliage with some lavender tint.
