Gorgeous but...
I received my AV 'Ann' along with the other AV's in my shipment and they all looked great! About a week later however, Ann decided she didn't like the amount of water I gave her and slowly started to rot. Very sad because it had a few blooms and BEAUTIFUL foliage! I will probably order another in the future...
Gorgeous leaves
A really beautiful plant with great variegated leaves. I just received it so it hasn't had time to bloom yet. It was packed perfectly and all plants arrived healthy and in great condition as always.
Ann
I received Ann as a free plant. I haven't had the best of luck with her. The post office sent my order to the wrong location so the plants were packaged a few extra days. When I final received my order Ann was looking to good. her leaves had brown tips. Over the next few day she got worse and I lost the plant.
Ann intimidated me!
After everything I’ve read about Ann, to see it in my Violet Barn box as my freebie, I was instantly intimidated by it. I would look at it out of the corner of my eye & was afraid to bother it too much. Well, it turns out the Violet Barn sent a winner!! I have had Ann 2 months & she is beautiful, already 8” across & covered with beautiful flowers!! She’s given me confidence! Thank You Violet Barn! You’re the best in the business!
Great plant!
Ahh, the coveted Ann! She is more sturdy and hardy than we think. My son cut several leaves off and she grew them back. When I planted a leaf to start new babies, they grew right away. I already have a new baby. To me it’s actually not as coveted as some of my other plants but give it a try. She is popular.
