Violet Barn Site
The VB site is the most informative learning location I have found online. The lessons are well done and informative. I have grown violets from seeds and cuttings in the past. It is great to have an informative location that also offers fantastic products. I created a "short cut" on my home page so I always have it available.

Beautiful violets
This is my 3rd order since July and I will never buy from anyone else. They come packed so beautifully and always thriving plants. I’ve received many with blooms and buds already on them. Others have bloomed within a month. I love taking care of them and looking every day to see if there’ are any new flowers. I’ve already started leaves and they’ve produced babies. If you’re looking for well kept healthy plants this is your place to buy them.
Beautiful selection
I can’t say one negative thing. The packing is exceptional and the plants all arrive in great condition and of nice size. When mine arrived they were packed to keep them cozy weather it was hot or cold. I only had one leaf break off and I immediately cut the leaf to try to get a baby, within a few days I had a baby on this healthy leaf. I’m getting ready to place my 4th order. I’ve gotten plants from other sources online and have always wound up with crappy plants & insects. I’m a faithful Violet Barn shopper.

Great service & quality
These arrived when promised and in perfect condition. They are packed so securely. Every plant was perfect at least 2 already had flowers and 3 were in bud. I’m letting them settle in and I can’t wait to transplant. My husband bought a beautiful stand for me to display them. I’m so grateful to have found the Violet Barn. I bought seeds from another company and have followed their instructions exactly and I’ve yet to see one show any sign of germination. I will never trust a company like that again. I have already placed a second order of Episcias, I also love them. Any suggestions on other plants I should try? I love flowering and different (than a typical houseplant) leaves? Great variety, perfect shipping
I ordered this as I wanted some starter plants to re start my African violet collection. They've all thrived and all were in bloom or ready to bloom when I received. Not a fan of all the bloom types but will give those away to friends and family. Fun grab bag
Looking Forward to My First Order
Based on all other reviews I've read, I opted to order several hybrids for myself and for my sister. We grew up watching our grandmother and mother grow beautiful African violets and have carried on the tradition. I am sure that your plants will not disappoint.

I was at a loss as to which violets to choose because I am a brand new collector. I purchased the seller's choice of 10 and they arrived in perfect condition right on time. Beautiful healthy plants!
My husband gave me an indoor plant stand with lights which could hold about 24 full size violets. I bought 4 violets locally then started looking for options online. I chose to buy 2 sets of 10 from Violet Barn and received 20 different unique plants. They are all fully grown now and beautiful every one of them. My original 4 purchased locally pale in comparison. So I'm back to order a couple new ones to replace a couple of those. The plants ordered here arrive small and very well packaged. You can't go wrong.

First Order
I ordered from the Violet Barn for the first time last fall, and I was very happy with my purchase. The plants came in great condition and very quickly took off. In a month or so buds were opening, and my roommate and I had a lot of fun trying to predict what flowers we would get. I would absolutely recommend the 10 violet deal to first time purchasers looking to get started!
Undoubtedly Five Stars!
One year ago I placed an order for 10 Different Standard Violets. I couldn't decide from all the choices in the online catalogue, and the "price was right," so I went with the sellers choice, expecting duplicates and not much more than supermarket quality. Wrong! WIthin a few weeks, all the plants were in bud or bloom and doing well. By six months, all were flourishing in my east window with minimal care. Recommend website from my friend
My friend used to order the plants from this website and he recommended me for order the same. The advantage of the web is they send the plant even in the winter. This is good for tropical country like Thailand because if we waiting for order in April, our country will extremely hot and plant may die during delivery. I will update more after I get my order.

The Violet Barn's catalogue is such an embarrassment of riches, and I always have a difficult time deciding which plants to add to my collection. I was always leery about "Sellers Choice" fearing that some violets might be "seconds", but boy was I wrong! I placed an order in April 2017 and within a few days received 10 of the healthiest violets, all in bloom or ready to bloom. There were no duplicates and there was a variety of colors and types. In the six months since they have been in constant bloom, and they are all flourishing in my east dining room window. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. The plants were packaged very well, with only two leaves that broke, and I very happily planted them right away. One plant already had beautiful blooms! Standard Violet Order of 10
I want to express how satisfied I am with VB and the quality of my plants! I have had them about 3 wks. They arrived beautifully and securely packaged. # of them already had some buds and are now in bloom. All plants were in excellent condition. I haven't grown african violets since I was a teen. Hopefully my moves all over the country are finished and I am settled in to a location where I can fully enjoy these lovely plants I have them by a window which is shaded by my woods so I have a plant light for them. They are doing extremely well! I couldn't be happier with my first order from VB!! Highly recommend!
Healthy Beautiful Babies
Like getting a bundle of joy! Its been years since I grew violets, but now find gardening outside too much, so I am starting an indoor garden, No Sweat! One baby is already blooming and all are healthy and growing. What fun! Very impressed with speed and professionalism of shipping. Thank you, no long hot summer outside for me! Loved the selection and price
I have ordered individual violets in the past, but lost many due to mealy bugs. So jump started my collection with an order of 10 standard violets as well as 10 miniature violets, 5 trailing violets. I was so pleased. The plants seemed to be much larger, more mature than when I have ordered individual plants, many in bloom or with buds. Also, the selection was very nice. Like my birthday opening the violets and finding out what I was sent. Am ordering these again as such a good deal and such great plants!

I thought to African Violets were in very good shape when they arrived. I was a little surprised by their size and a little surprised to find out all of them were either a shade of pink or purple. But overall very happy with my purchase and will be purchasing again!

mothers day
I ordered these for my mom for mothers day. Boy was she in love!! Shes always had and still has a house full of african violets. The packaging was great and they have had to be repotted twice because they are growing to well!! I'm ordering the trailing violets next!

One of my best choices
I recently received my 10 plants. The care with which they were packaged was amazing. The plants were beautiful. 5 or the 10 were in heavy bud or complete bloom. The other 5 have small buds appearing.

Excellent Product & Service
I ordered these violets as an anniversary gift for my wife, and she is delighted. Our violets swiftly traveled from New York to California as promised. The twenty assorted violets were in superb condition. The packaging is excellently protective and well designed, and includes violet care instructions. During the winter months we grow our violets under a high-quality, 175 watt LED with eleven light wavelengths. The LED is suspended 48-inches above the violets in a twenty-five (25) square feet closet, and we run the lights ten (10) hours daily on a timer. This allows us to open and close the closet door to regulate temperature during these winter months. We are very happy with our violets and appreciate the first-class customer service from Violet Barn. Order these violets with confidence!
