Sagittarius Elite Variegated

(Strelets Elit)  Same bloom as 'Sagittarius Elite' but with beautiful white, gold, and green crown variegated foliage, which provides great contrast with the dark blooms! Terrific large double violet-purple with coral-pink fantasy spots.  Medium green standard foliage.

Small sad plant, blooms pink

A couple of months ago I received this plant, it was in a saddest state. Shockingly it pulled through (in case someone gets a plant that begins slowly wither for no reason, do not despair, remove all soil that it came with, all of it and repot like normal. This happened a few times already) But all that aside, now the plant is blooming and it's nothing like the description. Not even red!!! It's pink. A flat pink. Leaves are pretty with its yellow variegation VB note: Since we guarantee first bloom to be true to description, have refunded your account for this plant.

Very small frail plant

Was looking forward growing this African Violet, but received a very small frail plant in mail, always been a happy customer, but this last shipment was a bid dissapointing on the African Violets. Do hope this one will make it, same for Buckeye Oh My

AV

Such a beautiful plant but unfortunately it's dying. So sad because I just got it two days ago. Going to buy one more.

Beautiful

This violet is absolutely beautiful with the contrast of the light leaves and dark blossoms. I have not had any problems with it as reported by some other reviewers. The leaves shape nicely, also. My plant is in a self watering Dandy Pot in an east window. The only negative is that the blossom stems are a bit weak, and after a few days the blossoms gradually "lay down." If it were growing under lights, this might not occur, but I love to have it out where I can enjoy it!

Gorgeous plant!

It arrived safe and secure, with several gorgeous blooms and buds. One of the larger leaves had been semi-broken in transit, but I clipped it the rest of the way off, and am now seeing if it will propagate. But I expect it to become one of my favorites!

Sagittarius Elite is a must have!

This is the first review I have left. Having read the negative reviews given on this variety I wanted to come to its defense. My plant arrived ready to put in a 4" pot and in bloom. It took a short rest and hasn't stopped yet. Both blooms and foliage are gorgeous! It's my favorite plant!!

on the picky side

If you are new to growing African Violets, I would avoid this one. This is my third - and last - attempt with this violet. It is very sensitive to the slightest of over-watering. The first one went that way. The second I would simply call failure to thrive then dead. This third one came with buds on it and looked promising. It is now smaller in diameter than a nickel. The violets I have around it are doing well, so I am at a bit of a loss and if this one dies, I won't try this one again. Maybe I can put a picture of it in the pot...

Gggrrreeeaaattt!

This little plant arrived with its pretty leaves a few weeks ago. It has already started blooming! They are these very pretty pink with purple stripes thru the petals. Then a second bloom appreared. It was the opposite, purple with pink stripe thru the petals! On the same plant! Cool!

Sagittarius Elite Variegated

I was disappointed to find that this plant had most of the larger leaves broken off, leaving it extremely small. It is still alive, however, and I hope it will hang in there and take off. The center leaves left also have very little green, they are mostly the striking gold color, which is very pretty, but makes me hope that it has enough chlorophyll to survive. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
