Pyrrosia adnascens


Small, low growing, ephiphytic, fern.  3-5" long, leathery green,  leaves borne on long, creeping rhizome.  Native to China and SE Asia, grows on tree trunks and rocks.  A medicinal plant used in treatment of dysentery and treatment of inflammation.  Easy grower and unusual specimen.

Awesome funky plant

I got this plant a couple months ago as part of the "10 sellers choice plants" surprise package and its one of the most unique plants I've ever seen. This plant, along with all the others I received came in very good condition and very healthy looking. After a couple months I have had 4 new big leaves grow and plant is still thriving. I water it about once a week and keep in partly shaded window and it seems to like that.
