Such a fun plant!

Such an interesting plant! People always comment on how unique it looks. The fuzzy stems and leaves look like nothing else. Imagine that the stems are rolled in cotton or something. The blooms are quite striking against the foliage. Be sure to keep a good watering schedule. One slip up and this plant will not be happy. Learned that the hard way! Worth the buy if you want to add something strange to your collection.

CONSTANTLY IN BLOOM

Have had this plant for about 4 years. Now in a 6 inch pot and constantly in bloom. It does well with 2-4 hours of sun. The leaves are a bonus. As for leggy growth, just cut it off. The tuber is always producing new leaves (Don't bury the tuber). Can't praise this one enough.

Interesting Blooms

This is a very interesting plant! The new leaves and blooms are covered with white 'hair' that give it a very fuzzy and unusual look! The flowers are long lasting and a very pretty color. It didn't get all five stars from me because it can be a tall and somewhat leggy grower and it didn't seem to root as easily from tip cuttings as some other Sinningias. But, the leaves have a cool texture to them too, so if you don't mind a little larger grower, give it a try, it is worth it!
