Chiritopsis repanda v. guilenenis


Unusual scented gesneriad.  Fuzzy, medium green leaves form a nice rosette.  Constant and easy bloomer will often produce hundreds of tiny white, scented blooms.  Can be strong scented--not to everyone's liking, though we tolerate it because it's such an otherwise terrific plant.  Easy care, much the same as for violets.

Great Fragrance

I really love the scent of this plant! This is a really different and interesting Gesneriad. Fun to try !

A Scented Gesneriad!

Yes, a wonderfully scented Gesneriad that has a unique fragrance similar to honey and spices! I recently lost this one so I contacted the Violet Barn about having it relisted and within a week it came back up for sale. Talk about stellar customer service! Love, love, love!

Awesome plant

Not everyone thinks Gesneriad’s have pleasant scents, but I love the fragrance of the leaves on this one the best ! It’s a fun little plant with small abundant flowers.
