Col. orientandina

One of the most unusual, and most popular, this species produces hundreds of tiny yellow blooms along its stems, beneath thick leaves tipped in dark maroon.  Produces 'easter egg' like berries too!  Upright grower.  A favorite of ours.

Who can't love a plant like this?

This columnea has a little bit of something for every grower. My plant grows in a sunny south facing window and is growing beautifully. It has interesting tiny yellow flowers along the stem, and the flowers soon form adorable pink berries which look like jelly beans. The leaves have red tips on the underside. Easy to grow, and a fun addition to your collection.

Already in bloom!

Plant arrived in bloom, perfect condition, can't wait for berries to form. This one surely will attract compliments!

Amazing plant

This is an amazing plant! It is one of my all-time favorites. It is beautiful and unique. The leaves and growth pattern of the stems are interesting, and the pink berries it produces are a pretty, sparkling pink. It is also fairly hearty and forgiving as well.

really cool plant

I've had it for a few months. It is blooming heavily in my relatively dim office window (little if any direct light), and has great color at the leaftips. No berries yet, but it is still quite small. It seems to be a slow grower in my conditions (which I think of as a good thing), but it seems very healthy and I'm happy with it!

I love this plant!,

This little guy is darling. The red/brown tipped leaves are attractive and the sturdy stems are a nice contrast to the herbaceous growth of most of my house plants . The pink berries last for weeks and a really cute. I horrendously neglected my house plants last summer and this plant was one of the few that bounced back without much trouble. Love it!
