Robs Twinkle Blue
This is my 3rd order from the Violet Barn. I love my miniature violets. I purchased Robs Twinkle Blue last year. It has since re-bloomed. It is just the sweetest little plant! Being a plant lover I do not have much room in the jungle of plants that I have acquired over the years. The miniature violets are a perfect solution. The way they are packed for shipping is amazing! Prolific bloomer!
I love the tiny miniatures, and I find Twinkle Blue to be one of the easiest to both grow and bloom. I have it in several terrariums, and I absolutely love it!
My Twinkle Blue
I have always been afraid to try one of the smaller of the miniatures because I did not trust myself to keep up with a small violet's needs. However, I have been so happy with My Twinkle Blue. I purchased this little Blue a few years ago and am delighted to say this little violet has not required extra special needs as I feared. I keep most of my violets in self watering pots to keep me from over watering or spilling water on the crowns rotting the plant. My Twinkle Blue is happy in the dark blue clay pot. The plant is a nice compact shape. The leaves look groomed with gorgeous semi pointed thick waxy leaves. And the beautiful blue flowers are just precious. An added delight is the flowers continue to bloom no matter the season.

Love this little plant I received it in perfect condition. It is growing well under lights. I have it in a self watering pot and it seems to be doing very well! No blooms quite yet but new leaves are forming! Very excited to see the blooms!

Rob's Twinkle Blue was ideal for me because it is so small. What I like most about it is that it isn't flashy - it has an ideal balance between leaves and flowers, and the flowers are beautiful but 'modest'.

I ordered this violet a while ago, and it is truly truly tiny. It growing beautifully, and I am anxious to see the tiny blue flowers. I love all my violets, but this one is really "my baby". I gave it 4 stars just because I did not see the flowers yet.

Very Sturdy
This little violet is not as delicate as one would think based on its size. I was uneducated on suckers when I purchased Twinkle Blue, and it initially suffered from many. Once I was able to remove and keep them at bay, it has been a spectacular bloomer for me. So symmetrical now.

Mini violet
Love this violet, it fit in a tea cup by my chair and smiled at me all the time. I haven’t gotten it to bloom this year so am moving it to a nice sunny window this fall and see how it does. They are great little violets to have around in special places.

Rob’s little Twinkle Blue is the most gorgeous, darling thing ever! The leaves are a beautiful deep green and the tiny little blooms are a beautiful sapphire color that pop through the leaves and truly appear to “twinkle”! So lovely I had to buy one for my sister!

My favorite violet
I'm pretty new to AVs, but this violet instantly became my favorite. It's absolutely tiny and adorable, and arrived in perfect condition. I bagged it up for a few days after repotting to ease its adjustment to my room, and it's doing great now! It had a few buds when I got it and is just starting to bloom -- the flowers are beautiful. Also, its tiny size is great for my limited shelf space. Highly recommend this plant!!

The plants all are healthy, well-packed for shipping and are thriving in my home. Of course it is too early for flowers, but I have no reason to believe they won't continue to grow and flourish. I Had to Have Another One!
I bought this one a couple of years ago and I loved the dark leaves and the little blue flowers. It was almost constantly in bloom but due to a heater failure this past winter I lost almost all of my AV's. I knew though when I went to rebuild my collection that this one was at the top of my list.

Sad Little Plant
I've placed several orders from Violet Barn and I've ordered this specific plant twice and both times it lasted a month or so then just conked out on me with no explanation. I think most of my other plants from here are still doing okay but there is something with this little one that doesn't last.

Cutie
So. Freaking. Cute. Everything is adorable from the tiny, cup shaped flowers to the pointed little leaves. It did very well for me this past year, always with a few flowers on it. Unfortunately, a temperature/watering mishap this winter almost killed it, but it held on with a single, tiny leaf and is coming back from the brink of death! It's in my "flower hospital" now and expected to make a complete recovery.

Tiny perfection
Since so many reviews already mention the immaculate packaging I will skip to the unwrapping and the happiness felt when I first saw the four plants that made it safely through the middle of winter. Rob’s Twinkle Blue was a perfect, tiny replica of its larger relatives, much smaller than I’d imagined but a great introduction to microminiatures. In just a little more than a week it seems to be adjusting to its new home with new leaves coming up. I can hardly wait for the blooms!

Rob's Twinkle Blue...
I ordered this little guy because he was so little and cute. I received the plant in good shape and in bloom. Despite a good start, I couldn't keep him alive. The plant dried out so quickly that I couldn't keep up with the watering needs. Putting in a larger pot was not advised. In my opinion, the really little plants are for someone who doesn't travel much and is home to take care of their frequent watering needs.

Stunning vitality, radiating health - Rob's Twinkle Blue is an All-Star
This little guys is just about the cutest little creature I've ever seen. In all of its tininess, it is just radiating vitality. It was the first time I've ordered a microminiature, but now I'm back here on the site, browsing for more. I spent this afternoon creating a few little DIY self-watering pots with wicks. MY BEST TINY AV!
If you want a fantastic really little African Violet, this is the one I recommend! I have had it for a couple of years and it LOVES to bloom. I have it growing in a thumbpot, so if you want one that takes little space and gives you beautiful dark purple blooms and has the cutest little dark green leaves, this is for you!

Gotta love this little guy. The leaves are a great green color , darker at the base. The leaves on mine tend to stand up a bit which I actually like. Sweet. The flowers are lovely. Mine arrived with the flowers broken off but it has been 4 weeks and already full of bud stems. Won't be long. A greta addition to my desk.

Wrong Twinkle
I ordered Twinkle Pink, but they sent me Twinkle Blue. Still I love it :) I'll order the pink next time. I received all my plants in good condition. The only setback they are all in crowns, no root, too bad they can't sent full plants :(But I still happy and definitely order from them again :) VB note: Only crowns of plants (no roots or soil) are permitted when shipping to Singapore.

The Violet Barn could teach my orchid suppliers a lot about proper packaging and delivery. After multiple orders, never have I ever received a plant with the least bit of damage. Upon opening the box , the organization is quite impressive. I've also learned the secret to unpacking. Unlike other packers, I dont damage the plants unpacking them they are so cleverly packed. Kudos!!!

My first Twinkle Blue arrived almost 2 years ago with a bloom and tiny little leaves. It "grew up" to a whopping 2-2.5 inches across and blooms almost constantly. I received one of these as a gift years ago. The little plant was one of the best I've ever had. It hardly stopped blooming/budding for two years straight (and the little pointy, glossy, deep-green leaves were so cute by themselves). I was so sad when it got too cold while I was on vacation, and the poor thing never recovered. I still miss that plant!

Great little plant with perfect leaves and cute flowers. I'm a total African violet newbie and mine did really well. It arrived blooming and then put on another beautiful show a couple of months later.

Perfectly Tiny
I just received 'Robs Twinkle Blue' in my last order and it is such a little cutie. It arrived with a couple of blooms and has already added several more in the week I've had it. Leaves are a nice dark green and perfectly tiny. I love this little gem.

I got this little guy a few months ago. They packed it well and it arrived safe and sound with no issues in the middle of winter. This little guy is going strong, and just started blooming for me. I highly recommend it!
