This one started off really strong for me --- perfect little shape, lots of little buds. The color of mine was slightly paler than the color in the picture. There were two downsides to me. After the first couple of months, it stopped putting out buds and slowed down in growth. This could be because of the change in seasons and environment, so we'll see as spring rolls around again. The shape of it is still pleasant even without the flowers. The second thing is that this little guy puts out a lot of suckers, and you really have to stay on top of it. So far I like it but I'd like to see if it gets better as the season warms up again.

Just received this darling little violet. Arrived in perfect condition, perfectly shaped and nice tight leaves. Can't wait to see it bloom!
A perfect little beauty
'Rob's Fuddy Duddy' has to be one of the best minis out there. Glossy near-black foliage that pretty much shapes itself, a cute tiny habit, and absolutely constant, profuse blooming. It's not frilly or variegated but its tidy shape and heavy flowering make it very reliably beautiful. I do find it to be one of the more sucker-prone varieties in my collection of minis, but a little extra sucker vigilance is a small price to pay for such an effortlessly lovely plant.

When I received my violet it was in bloom. The purple is beautiful against the dark green foliage. Doing great!
Gorgeous Little Beauty
Rob’s Fuddy Duddy is definitely not a dud. This blooming wonder never stops once it gets started! The leaves are dark, pointed and perfectly shaped. The flowers are held above in a sweet bouquet that lasts for a long time. I stop to admire it every time I pass by my lighted rack. You won’t be disappointed with this one.
