Better than Red Rocket
No one ever mentions the best quality to find in Violet Suppliers: plants that are disease and pest free. So easy to wipe out a prime collection, which is why I NEVER buy from big box stores or grocery stores, which often have a floral department. Violet Barn stock reliably sells only the best, and I don’t understand those who complain about receiving SMALL specimens, when common sense should tell you that large ones would probably not survive the shipping process, much less be offered at reasonable prices. Red Rocket was my favorite “red” until I acquired Ruby. The picture doesn’t quite show the vibrant, almost florescent , edge, and that makes all the difference.
Another reason why you need this one
The picture doesn't give Ruby her shine or her display her true magnificent magnitude! Her blooms are vibrant, her stems are strong. She even told me this morning, "I woke up like this"! All of my AV's have been either on Beyonce or Bruno Mars status since they have Violet Barn's all purpose soiless mix and fertilizer. Thank you Violet Barn!

I received all of the AV's that I ordered today and each of my babies were delivered safely....all were UNSCATHED!!! You hear me? Every single African violet (shipped to me, in the month of cold as beer, December), were unscathed! Now let me tell you, the leaves on this African violet, right here are just a small fragment of the beauty of what is to come. I am definitely looking forward to it blooming but the foilage today, has me in awe.
Stunning plant!
I received this plant last fall and she just blooms and blooms. Large dark green leaves that grow perfectly symmetrical and the flowers....wow! Big as silver dollar and the color just gets better as they age. Definitely a show stopper!
Pretty Flower
I just received this plant recently. It arrived with a beautiful flower already in bloom. It has a big flower and the color is gorgeous. I love it.
