Beautiful...but
I have mixed feelings about this variety. It is beautiful, blooms huge blossoms freely, but higher temperatures cause flowers to turn almost solid red and they tend to turn brown and drop. I was finally able to get an air conditioner in the room with my plants and it seems to be helping some with the color, although the blooms are still mostly red. After the weather cools and the plant is a little older I may need to change my review.
Beautiful variegated leaves !
This plants variegated leaves are beautiful ! It arrived with a few buds on it, can't wait for them to open. All my plants I ordered came very well packed. I will be placing another order in a few weeks.

I was fortunate to find this violet in our local garden center, which carries a good selection of violets from a nursery in Florida. The flowers are really stunning, just like the picture, with perhaps a little more of the red. The description says semidouble, but mine have all bloomed single so far. The slightly wavy foliage with white TL variegation is a good complement to the blooms. The only negative is that the flowers don't last as long as some -- they drop off after a while, instead of staying on the plant until they dry up. I'm definitely happy to have LE Carousel in my collection!
