Phenomenal!
This is the most gorgeous strep I have ever grown! It is absolutely HUGE and hardy! I give it a 10 out of 5!
Beautiful color and strong plant
I am in love with this Steptocarpus. It is a strong plant and an easy grower. The blooms are large and beautiful. I bought this plant a year ago and it started blooming last fall. I kind off neglected to water it once and it got very dry and limpy. It didn't recover even after a good watering and I thought I was loosing the plant. I trimmed some leaves and buds and gave it a good liquid feed. It recovered slowly but to my surprise it has become stronger and has beautiful dark green leaves now. The plant is quite flat and the bloom stalks are talk. Harlequin lace is an apt name for this plant as the flowers speaks of its trueness to color and pattern.
Great Plant
I've had the first flush of blooms 3 months after ordering, definitely worth it. The upper color is nearly blue, very nice.
Serious Flower Power
Each flower stem often has 4 to 6 blooms each. My two year old plant has 40 flowers on it! It is never without blooms when grown under lights. This is a larger variety--mine eventually needed a 6 inch pot. One thing to note is the amount of gold netting varies; I get more gold and larger flowers when the plant matures and gets plenty of fertilizer.

It loves you back
This plant brings a big smile to my face every time I look at it. I have had mine for 14 months now, and once it acclimatized itself it simply took off. Moreover, when I accidentally up-potted it from a 3 inch to a 5 inch pot (rather than a 4 inch pot) instead of showing signs of distress it merrily grew more leaves followed by bloom stalks and flowers. It has been consistently blooming in waves since mid-July. I love this plant! The leaves grow as if they want to reach out and give you a hug, and the flowers are like getting a little kiss on the cheek.
Stunning color!
Recently ordered another Harlequin Lace. One of my fav streps. Beautiful pattern that reminds me of butterfly wings. This one is would be a great addition to anyone's collection.
So many flowers
This took a bit to start to flower, but has not stopped flowering all summer. Averages 20-30 large blooms at a time. I would totally recommend! *
blooming fantastic
My 2nd review for this outstanding Strep which is always in bloom. There are at the moment 25 blooms on it with more on the way and the colors are magnificent. People think it's an orchid but I think this plant may have a lot more going for it. The photo doesn't do it justice.

Impressive and eye catching!
I found Violet Barn because of this beauty! I never knew how I would fall in love. I initially thought it was an orchid, but Harlequin Lace has its own delicacy and vibrance. Definitely a showstopper.

What can I say. It just blooms and blooms and blooms. The plant is also very robust. It's a rewarding plant for a first time grower of Streps.
Striking in-person
This flower looks like the wings of a butterfly and the pattern is so intricate, it's sure to catch your eye for several seconds. I can't believe such beautiful flowers exist, yet they're real!
Amazing flowers
I am a fan of streps now. My two favorites are this one and Wow! I am running out of space for plants, so have become more selective. The flowers of this plant are incredible. They each last for at least 2 to 3 weeks for me and I have multiple flowers at a time. I love looking at and through the petals. It's like looking through stained glass and the background netting of dark color is fasinating to me. I love the contrasting light blue color. I highly recommend this plant as well as Wow. Everblooming Plant
This is by far the most prolific bloomer in my collection. it blooms irrespective of the season and the dark flowers are striking admist the green leaves and my other colorful Strep collection.

This plant is stunning and is a constant bloomer. Quite a show stopper!

WONDERFUL and TOUGH Plant!
I love Harlequin Lace so much! I made a lot of mistakes with Streps and lost several...due to under watering, if you can believe it. Well this little beauty with bottom petals that look like stained glass windows is still alive and even blooming! I'm so impressed with it. Also makes a wonderful cut flower.
Awesome plant!
I got this one two months ago and expected that it would be a slow grower. BUT! It grows fast! and having a fully opened flower on the New Year's Day! Now there are two flowers and other three are about to open! Soooo pretty! My flower's color is kinda of darker than the picture, but still stunning! Can't love it more!
