Beautiful contrast!
This sport of EK-Boi Bykov is beautiful; the dark red/burgandy blooms stand out well against the golden foliage. However it's not a heavy bloomer, so don't expect a huge cap of flowers.
So unique!
One of my more recent purchases, such unique foliage! I Cannot wait to watch it grow and bloom :) As usual, my order was packed with care and the violets arrived in perfect condition.

This is my first time ordering from violets barn and was very please with the 10 violet I receive. That being said Ek bullfighter gold is a real stand out with it golden left and red flower it a cant wait for this one to mature more.

This will be my 2nd bullfight gold purchase. I'm getting 2 more. The leaves are lovely.
Like A Golden Star!
I am glad I ordered this one. One of the more recent purchases. The golden leaves are beautiful and does great in a bright, well lit area. It has not bloomed yet, however, it has been growing...leaf wise.
Spectacular
I absolutely love the leaves on this unusually variegated african violet . The gold/green tones contrast beautifully with my existing collection. I placed mine under a grow light immediately after opening because I can't wait to see the blooms. It's definitely a must have!!
Love the leaves
Recieved this plant today and the leaves are vibrant. No blooms on it however I'm excited for them as based on the reviews. This plant seem to be more of an actual red than others which are more commonly burgundy red.
Two are better than one
I am re-ordering this violet-----not because I lost the first won; its doing fine. I'm purchasing a second plant because the first one is so lovely, unusual, and vigorous that I want another and I figure that if I don't buy it now, it will soon be sold out and unavailable. I especially like this variety because the leaves on my plant are holding most of their color despite being grown warm here in south Texas. And the plant is hardy. Sometimes the more exotic varieties can be fussy growers. I have not found that to be the case with Bullfight Gold; the plant is very sturdy and the blooms are large and beautiful just like those produced by the regular Bullfight variety (which I have also grown).. My only slight reservation would be that this plant has bloomed with a little less frequency than Bullfight , but its a showy plant even when its not blooming
EK Bullfight Gold
I just got the new plant yesterday. The leaves are a very unusual color and really set off the plant,now I can hardly wait to see it in bloom, I am betting it will be a "must have".
