Stunning violet
One of my first violets Very beautiful dark purple flowers with a white edge. The leaves are also pretty, dark green with lighter green veins. Stunning in person. Mine has just started blooming.
Gorgeous Plant
I love this plant for its beautiful blooms!. The flowers start out extremely dark purple (almost black) with a crisp white Geneva edge which makes the flower look like its glowing. Easy grower and great bloomer. Just an amazing plant.
Beautiful flowers, huge rosette
This is my first less than perfect reviews on AV I bought from Violet Barn. It has been about 6 months since I received this plant. The size of the plant is tripled since then. It is about 3 times larger than other plants I received in that order. The leaves are all up, no matter what I do. It is on the sunniest spot on my east side bay window. All other rosettes stay neat and compact, but this one looks quite ragged. The variegation is subtle, narrow cream edge, mostly on the young leaves. The flowers are gorgeous. They opened almost black, the edge is very contrast. After a couple of weeks, the color of the flowers washes down to purple. This is another disappointment. Overall, if you are OK with a huge rosette and leaves and not so good shape of the entire plant, you will probably pleased. I have limited space and I will not keep this variety despite the gorgeous flowers.
Stunning
I have had this AV for over a year and the large flowers are truly a very dark purple with a nice white edge like in the images . The plant and leaves can get quite large with many blooms that last. I did not get much variegation in the leaves. Friends say this one is the best of my AV collection .
Beautiful must have violet!
This violet is beautiful and I am glad I purchased it. Mine is starting to bloom and every time I walk past it, I stop and look at it. These picture are pretty, however it is not the same as looking at it in person. I recommend getting this plant.
Beautiful Variegation
The leaves on this violet are beautiful with a pink and green variegation; the back of the leaves is a dark pink. My plant arrived with a bud and I look forward to the striking blooms.
Amaising!
What a beautiful AV!!!! Flowers are huge, color is incredible and blooms all the time! Thank You Violet Barn for quality plants!
