Beautiful but buds never fully opened.
When I received Cajuns Mystical Star from Violet Barn, it was a lovely plant, packaged well, in great condition; it even had buds! The buds progressed from looking bud-like to looking like little "tubes," which was curious. The little tubes never opened into flowers, but stayed tube-like for several weeks and eventually started dying in the manner of spent blossoms. I never got this violet to bloom and eventually gave up on it. I'm sure mine was the exception rather than the rule.
