Cabbage Patch Kid
A little persnickitry to grow at times, but definitely hardy. I dropped it breaking off plenty of leaf growth. It came back in style with ruffled symetry. It is not as profuse a bloomer as yet, understandable, it should be dead lol but it does give me several stalks that look like Apple Jolly Ranchers or baby cabbages. Fine unusual violet !
Beautiful foliage!
The foliage makes people comment, but the blooms are even more striking. My friends are all eager to get their new violets from the violet barn. I cannot wait for this little one to grow bigger and produce even more blooms.
beautiful when it blooms
Love the blooms on this one, but not a frequent bloomer. The bright green is nice contrast from most of my other pink varieties. Foliage is more ordinary than other types and seems to like to develop new crowns.
Bellisomo
This was my first violet purchase from the Violet Barn and it bloomed immediately. Absolutely lovely! Unfortunately, I rushed to re-pot my violet and it did not survive. More recently, I have discovered that if you wait a number of months before re-potting and provide adequate lighting, the violets do much better.

Ruffles everywhere!
Beautiful, lush, frilly foliage and blooms. It arrived in perfect condition, and already has new blooms coming up. I couldn't be happier with it!
Beautiful Foliage - Hardy Plant
I enjoy this plant. It is hardy and appears to be disease resistant. My plant (from VB) has a ruffled foliage that is lovely and the star point of this plant. Be aware that the foliage is a bit unruly, which I find to be an added interest to the plant. I find this plant is not a great bloomer. The flowers are beautiful but there are not many and they are far between. This plant also likes to throw suckers, which is handy for more plants but you need to pay attention to make sure you don't end up with multiple crowns. If this plant bloomed on a regular basis, I would probably rate it 5 stars. If you want a lovely unique plant for your collection this is a good choice.

I am giving a second review on this Russian hybrid plant! My first review was in May 2016. Since then Bellisimo is now blossoming a second time and profusely! I am so enchanted with the beautiful flirty ruffles on the apple green and white blossoms. The leaves are medium green and also have ruffles on them that are beautiful. I have placed a few orders but this order is definitely including violets that are frilly and have ruffles because I am really happy with this plant! I suggest you give it a try! Very easy to care for too...

Arrived with my first order carefully wrapped and had a beautiful blossom open! The flower is truly apple green and white with very frilly double blooms. Since I have the plant which is maybe two months, the plant has had additional beautiful blossoms. Plant seems very hardy!
