Great Show Plant
My favorite plant right now! Beautiful with a perfect rosette!
The Mood Is Always Good!
I received this plant as part of my first order from the Violet Barn. The packaging alone was amazing. No matter how rough the handling in transit, my order would have arrived in perfect condition! All five plants were perfect—not even the soil was disturbed. Ma’s Moody Monday is always in a good mood. Whether under watered or over watered, this plant remains healthy. The pots are labeled with the plant’s name and a date. You are supposed to delay transplanting until six months after the date on the pot. I accidentally misread the date and transplanted Ma’s Moody Monday into a 3-inch pot three months early. Too late, I discovered that the root ball was way too small this change. But, the plant thrived anyway. It is about to bloom for the first time. Perhaps because the plant is still young, the variegation is barely there. I am not into the shows but can see that this plant would be very easy to train. I rotate the pot a quarter turn daily, and the plant is naturally developing a symmetrical arrangement of leaves. The growth is also naturally horizontal or flat.
Ma Loves Moody Monday
I have purchased two Ma's Moody Monday violets at separate times. Both have turned out to be outstanding show stoppers! Not only is the color unique, but the shape of the plant is perfect. This one is my favorite and I have many others from The Violet Barn.
Fast Growing
This was my first violet, and it's wonderful. In 5 months it's grown from one leaf to a full plant, and I got my first flower today.It's such an easy plant to care for! A must have!
