Nice healthy plants
Just received my 5 Kohlerias and they were very well packaged. Not a broken stem or lost leaf on any of them. Three of the five are either budded or already in bloom. My first try with this genus and I’m excited to see if they do as well as the other plants I’ve purchased from the Violet Barn.

I decided to try growing some Kohleria and now I'm hooked! They are fun to grow. Will be ordering more.
Joyous Resurrection!
When I received the 5 kohleria, I was completely unprepared. I did not have any room on my light table for them, and so I tried a window sill. They quickly all crumbled and died. Luckily, I dug out the rhizomes and re-sprouted them. One year later, I have finally achieved blooms on 3 out of the 5 plants! 2 did not survive. In any case, 3 kohleria are now doing great, occupying my entire light table, and blooming like crazy. A most excellent purchase, if you have the right conditions to grow them.

I love the KOHLERIA plant for its beauty first. But also because it really is very easy to grow & adds a splash of color to any room.
Kohleria
I received these in April. The plants are beautiful, blooming, and making new kohleria. I was pleasantly surprised to have most of the kohleria plants blooming when they arrived. They have continued to bloom. I love every one of them that I received.
